Founded in 1850 by Thomas Stevens and set in the village of Bradfield amidst unspoilt countryside a mere 40 miles from London, Bradfield College enjoys a well-established reputation for being one of the country’s leading independent schools through its provision of an outstanding education. The College welcomes students from the UK and overseas with the student body numbering approximately 840, aged between 13 – 18 years old. Our students enjoy exceptional facilities such as the Blackburn Science Centre, The Greek Theatre, the Indoor Sports and Tennis Centres, and the state-of-the-art St Andrew’s Study Centre.

Bradfield’s academic curriculum is vast, offering GCSEs, IGCSEs, A-level courses and the IB Diploma Programme. Over one-third of grades at (I)GCSE are Grade 8/9, equivalent to to A/A*. At A-level, approaching 50% of grades achieve this grade. The College has now been an IB World School for 12 years. An average of 36 (out of 45) is 6 Diploma points higher than the international mean.
